**Important Temporary Instructional Permit(TIP) Info**
All students, regardless of age, must obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit(TIP) from a state operated Office of Motor(OMV) prior to attending the course. To obtain a Temporary Instructional Permit(TIP) the student would visit the OMV with their birth certificate and social security card. If the student is a minor, the legal parent/guardian must accompany the student to the OMV. Students can schedule an OMV appointment at the state's OMV website: Expresslane.Org. Less visited OMV offices such as the location in Clinton, St.Francisville, and occasionally Gonzales and Livingston will allow walk-ins that do not require an appointment.
